Robin I. Bresky is founder and president of Bresky Law, a boutique firm in Boca Raton that focuses on Appellate Law, Trusts and Estates and Corporate transactions. She is a driven and respected professional who has substantial experience in appeals, providing litigation support for civil, commercial and personal injury, family law and criminal matters. Immediately prior to starting the firm in 2000, Bresky served as a state prosecutor in Broward County. She is a resident of Boca Raton and a leader in the community and in her profession.

On a national stage, Bresky is past president of the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, a fellow of the American Bar Association, and since 2001, a member of the Appellate Judges Conference, composed of state and federal appellate judges, appellate staff attorneys and appellate lawyers dedicated to an efficient and independent judiciary.

Statewide, Bresky represents the 15th Judicial Circuit on The Florida Bar Board of Governors (BOG) and sits on the Executive Board.  She also serves on several Bar committees including: Disciplinary Review, Disciplinary Procedure (Chairperson), and Strategic Planning, She is also a Designated Reviewer for the 15th Judicial Circuit Grievance and UPL Committees.   In 2021, Bresky chaired the very first “hybrid” Florida Bar Annual Convention.  Bresky also represents the Board of Governors as the liaison to the Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar and is former Chair of the Joint Subcommittee on Website Advertising.   As a constant advocate of women’s rights, Bresky served as past president of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL).

Locally, Bresky is a former president of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association (SPBCBA) and the South Palm Beach County Chapter of FAWL, which in 2019 named her Woman Lawyer of the Year.  She currently represents the Florida Bar BOG in monthly Board of Directors meetings for the SPBCBA and the Palm Beach County Bar Association and has been a board member for the Fourth District Court of Appeal (DCA) Historical Society since its inception.

Bresky has been a long-time volunteer and advocate for Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County (LAS of PBC) and is a member of the Board of Directors.  In 2006, a year before joining the board, Bresky received the Appellate Law Pro Bono Award.  In 2009, she was nominated by the LAS of PBC and won the Women of Grace Award from the Bethesda Hospital Foundation. In 2019, Soroptimist International recognized her contributions to Legal Aid Society with the 2019 Women of Distinction Award for Community Service. Each year, Bresky Law hosts a major event in Mizner Park called the Bresky Bash to raise money for Legal Aid Society.

Bresky supports additional community organizations such as Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options (JAFCO) which provides services to abused and neglected children in South Florida. She has co-chaired the Mother’s Day Luncheon for three years in a row and is a member of the organization’s Godparent Circle level of giving.  Since 2012, Bresky has chaired the Project Nuremberg Lawyer Luncheon, an event that benefits Holocaust, Law and Jewish Ethics programming at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton which draws upon the legacy of the Nuremberg Trials and upholds the importance of the rule of law in seeking justice.  Last year, Bresky became one of eight dancers on the George Snow Scholarship Fund Boca Raton Ballroom Battle where collectively it raised over $660,000 for deserving students.  This year, she is honored to be co-chairing the event which will be broadcasted August 14, 2021.

Bresky has been included in Florida Super Lawyers since 2012, South Florida Legal Guide and has been included in Florida Trend’s Legal Elite.  She also received the Avvo Top Attorney Award in 2019.

Bresky received her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.

She is married to Dr. Kenneth Bresky and they have two grown children.
