Robin I. Bresky is founder and president of Bresky Law, a boutique firm in Boca Raton that focuses on appellate law, trusts & estates and corporate transactions. Bresky focuses her practice on appeals and litigation support for civil, commercial, personal injury, family law and criminal matters. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and in federal courts including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Immediately prior to starting her own firm in 2000, Bresky served as a state prosecutor in Broward County.
On the national stage, Bresky is past president of the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, a fellow of the American Bar Association, and since 2001, a member of the Appellate Judges Conference, composed of state and federal appellate judges, appellate staff attorneys and appellate lawyers dedicated to an efficient and independent judiciary.
Statewide, Bresky represents the 15th Judicial Circuit (Seat 3) on The Florida Bar Board of Governors (BOG) and sits on the Executive Board. She also serves on the Disciplinary Procedure (Chairperson), Disciplinary Review, and Strategic Planning Committees, and is a Designated Reviewer for the 15th Judicial Circuit Grievance and UPL Committees. Bresky also represents the BOG as Liaison to the Appellate Court Rules Committee and Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar and is former Chair of the Joint Subcommittee on Website Advertising. In 2021, she chaired the Bar’s Annual Convention, the first time it was held both in person and remotely.
As a passionate advocate for women’s rights, Bresky served as president of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) and president of the South Palm Beach County chapter. She is also a former president of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association (SPBCBA) and currently assists the BOG in monthly board meetings for the SPBCBA and the Palm Beach County Bar Association. In 2022, Bresky was appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission-Screening Committee for the 4th District Court of Appeal. She has been a board member for the 4th DCA’s Historical Society since its inception.
Bresky has been a long-time volunteer and advocate for the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County (LAS of PBC), serving on its Board since 2007. Her firm does pro bono work and raises money for the non-profit organization, including hosting a signature event in Boca Raton called Bresky Bash.
Bresky supports additional community organizations such as Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options (JAFCO) which provides services to abused and neglected children in South Florida. She co-chaired the Mother’s Day Luncheon for two years in a row and is a member of the organization’s Godparent Circle level of giving.
For several years in a row, Bresky has chaired the Project Nuremberg Lawyer Luncheon, an event that benefits Holocaust, Law and Jewish Ethics programming at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton.
In 2020, Bresky was one of eight dancers who participated in the Boca Raton Ballroom Battle which raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for the George Snow Scholarship Fund. In 2021, she co-chaired the event.
